Architecture Scotland Annual 2024
The Architecture Scotland Annual is back with a fresh collection of everything from prisons to libraries, museums and even a former public convenience.
The growing maturity of retrofit solutions has made its presence felt across Urban Realm and the Scottish Design Awards, the ASA24 is no different. From Paisley Central Library, a sensitive shopfront makeover of a vacant High Street store, to the transformation of a former Kilmarnock Church into a climbing centre, we see that anything is possible when reimagining what has gone before.
By collating over a hundred new buildings, we hope to show the collective impact of buildings at their best. So, put your feet up and enjoy the collection. It is an indispensable retort to the argument that our best architecture lies in the past.
